Yeah I'm definitely not brand loyal, I'll buy anything I like, and it definitely won't be the ecoturd.

Damn right, and the great thing is that if other companies keep pushing out beastly V8 off-road capable trucks, Ford will have their hand forced to put a V8 back into the Raptor. If they're smart.

Exactly, the joy of options, if they don't offer what I want I'll find someone that does, or make it if I have to.

If they do t offer a v8 raptor then I think a lot of people will do what you say and take a regular f150 and throw a body kit on it!! With suspension of course!

That's exactly what I'd do if I'm not in a place where I can just do a tow rig and a serious toy.

All these so called "Raptor Killers" may not be on par with the actual Raptor, but if they're putting monster V8's in them, the less informed crowd who are strictly going for the power will lean towards the "Raptor Killer" in turn will take away sales from the 2017 V6 Ecoboost Raptor which just may force Ford's hand to put a V8 into the next gen raptor. We'll see how things unfold.

I'll keep my fingers crossed, I'd rather stick with a model I know. That said, there is still a laundry list of things I don't like about the gen 2. Thumbs up on the interior though.

I'm waiting to see one at one of the offroad meets they have with the raptors to see how it does but the only real big issue I have with the new raptor is having 2 less pistons

If 6 Detroit Pistons teams took the court vs 8 Detroit Pistons teams, which would win? The 6 or the 8?

Before the Raptor came out there wasn't many options for F150's in terms of aftermarket suspension. Now you have all the companies that have started because of the Raptor that offer much better options than the stock suspension. We couldn't even get replacement shocks until 2011/2012. Not to mention the engines before the Raptor came out weren't anything to write home about. While I'm not a fan of the EB, I'd prefer one over a 5.4 any day of the week. It's a different time than when the Raptor was released in '09. We can buy a nice F150 with a 5.0 and drive in, or call. any of the Raptor vendors and buy bolt on parts that will turn the F150 into a much more capable truck. I see the Raptor turning into a glorified FX4 now
