Why not just get an FX4 then mod it?

According to Outlaw and talking with them at the TRR, yes. They found out when the chopped the top off of RSV1 to make that new 4 link truck.
I didn't know that, either! Wow... not THAT is awesome.

Considering they run down the same assembly line, that's surprising. Didn't see that on the F-150 assembly special on Nat-Geo.

Ya, the cab is supposedly a different shape slightly is some places, the back window from the standard is a different shape than the raptor too.

I'm a little surprised the added cab strength wasn't a marketing point for the Raptor. To me, that would really enhance the overall appeal of these trucks.

Seriously. That made me feel so much better running the texas track. If it was publicized more it would probably lower insurance for these too

Also outlaw raptor found this out, the Raptor cab is much stronger and reinforced than the standard f150 cab. 4-5 layers of metal compared to 1-3 on the standard cab. Huge safety factor.
As these are built on the same line, I would be really surprised if they are different. There is nothing to drive a stronger cab on the Raptor.

I talked with Connor. He said when they built the 4 linked raptor, they had to take the top of the cab off from the wreck. They replaced it with the top from a standard truck. I don't think you can get a better comparison first hand than that?

Lets not forget the stronger axles front/rear (someone on here mentioned 32 or 21 spline axles).

honestly i wouldnt have bought one if the resale value wasnt so solid, you wont get that in a fx4.
