Can / will Ford fix it under warranty? I have 18 months left...

Not after warranty. It is a well known issue, and Ford gets off easy... Actually pads their "Service" budget. Number 1 reason to not own one past bumper to bumper warranty.

Pay little or no attention to what you have read here. The people here dumping on the Raptor are a very slim minority of Raptor owners. There of plenty of us that have had zero issues. The Raptor is built on a reliable platform and the highest selling volume truck in the US (F-150). The F-150 market is a very big market, I would be interested in seeing what you guys have to offer.
Like any product, you usually hear from the small percentage that has an issue or an ax to grind for whatever reason. The 98% that never experience a problem are mostly silent.

I guess its time to make a list and bring it in. I've heard guys have the Cam Phasers changed twice and the rattle comes back after a couple weeks. Has Ford figured out how to fix this yet?

The full history. I know the alignment isn't warranty work, I only included it because it took 2 trips. It seemed like every visit took 2 trips minimum.

Visit #1 dealer #1 12k miles - Complaint of oil leak and squeaky roof
-ordered new pan, cant hear moonroof squeak

Visit #2 dealer #1 12.5k miles - Drained my synthetic oil, replaced plastic pan, filled with regular oil

Visit #3 dealer #2 20k miles - alignment after 2.25 leveling kit, just before getting new tires
-denied alignment, said I should get the tires first

Visit #4 dealer #2 20.5k miles - got alignment

Visit #5 dealer #2 26k miles - Complaint of oil leak, grinding in the front end, recall for B-pillar insulation, adjust headlights, update radio
-ordered new oil pan, I asked how many times they would replace the plastic pan before they put on the 2018.5+ metal pan and was told indefinitely. I asked for Synthetic oil, they balked, I pushed, they finally said I could get synthetic if I pay extra. Recall completed. Told they couldn't hear the grinding in the front end. When I picked it up, I took the mechanic for a ride and we could clearly hear the grinding. Headlights wouldn't adjust, I was told they need to take pictures of the headlights to show ford, and they need to see if they are covered. Was told multiple times how expensive headlights are.

Visit #6 dealer #2 27k miles - Took some time to get headlights approved, but replacement was approved. When I picked up the truck (this is late October) the headlights were replaced ( I was told multiple times again how expensive they are), the plastic oil pan was replaced, but I was told that there was a TSB on the IWE lines and they were on national back order till Jan. 1. I got angry, said that is ridiculous and unacceptable, and I wouldn't be back. I was changing offices and wouldn't work near that dealer anyway after the 1st of the year. Didn't end up paying extra for the synthetic, counter lady was apologetic.

At this point, I tried to schedule an appointment with the new dealer, they were booked till second week of Jan, despite me creeping up on the end of the 36k mile warranty. I had to drive the truck less, and brought it in with 35,920 miles. New dealer doesn't have a shuttle, asks me if they can use my truck to bring me to work, I say no, as Im almost out of warranty and I want to get shit straightened out.

Visit #7 dealer #3 35,920 miles - Complaint of grinding in the front end, squeaky moonroof, and tire rotation.
-get the wonderful call that they can't hear any grinding in the front or squeaking in the roof. At this point I lose it a bit. The front end clearly is grinding, it has every day for 3 months now. The moonroof is clearly squeaking, it has every day for 1.5 years now. I have been to the dealer before for both these issues before with no help. There is a TSB on the IWE line though, and they will order it, and they ordered a new track for the moonroof. They wont look into the grinding any further. I tell the guy I will come take him for a ride to show him the grinding, he says he doesn't want to and it doesn't matter if he hears it or not. He then brings up "Well, you know, there is a vac line tapped into the IWE hose, I don't know what that is for" (it is for a mechanical boost gauge). I say I basically don't want them to ignore damage to the truck that is there fault by not fixing this damn line. The conversation ends at this point. He calls back and has calmed down and so have I, he tells me that if when they replace the IWE line they see the hubs are damaged they will replace them. I say thank you.

So currently waiting on this unicorn of an IWE line finally shows up. If they replace the line and say the hubs are fine, my head may or may not explode.

Edit: also around dealer visit #6 i lost 5 pounds of boost. 20 phone calls emails and data logs later, 5 star basically says everything is fine and its all in my head and 15 psi is normal.

I miss 20 psi, wish i could get it back

Coming up with a more robust solution for the IWEs should be high on Ford's list IMO, but they just keep using the same setup. If you like the truck, just sack up and pay someone to fix it or do it yourself. It's not that expensive. You can make a custom line from copper in about 5 minutes. Same for the oil pan fix. Just buy one and put it on.

BAMR is gonna make noise, Ford cannot and will not fix that. If you get a tech that does hear it, they are going to tell you a new one might do the same or worse and to live with it. Again, if you like the truck, pay someone to fix it, fix it yourself, or sell the truck and forget about it. The roof glass is adjustable, and I've heard of people doing things to the BAMR on the Ford Edges to stop rattles. You have to pull the accordion covers over the tracks to get at anything though.

YEah, I don't plan on selling it, I am just frustrated and bitching. Warranty is over now anyway.

Next step, Id really like to find my lost 5 pounds of boost.

Nobody else makes a truck like this that's for sure, just wish I had less problems.
