Interior rattles are one thing I absolutely can't tolerate. Exterior rattles are ok, I can always close the windows. Which one does the Raptor suffer from.

One thing I have found for mine to solve any interior rattles is dyno matting the entire interior made a huge difference. I have no rattles now. I drive down oil lease roads often which are notorious for turning trucks into a rattle box quick. No issues since redoing my interior. I also have all my interior trim painted and the parts insulated underneath to help with this as well.

So the solution for getting rid of interior rattles on a $75,000 truck is to rip the thing apart and dyno mat it?

That's utterly ridiculous.

Do a lot of people experience interior rattles?

My sunroof made a little noise about a month ago when it started getting cold...I opened and closed it and it went away. That was the extent of my rattles in 20 months of ownership.

I know it sounds ridiculous but I have yet to see any trucks down these roads last more than a few months without having numerous rattles. Most won't last more than a couple of years before the entire truck is junk, regardless of the brand. I can tell you those of us that don't need to pull heavy loads and can afford it drive Raptors.

Here is a clip I found online of basically what we drive over. This guy is in an 18 wheeler doing 10 mph, I have no problem running the same road at 45-50mph in my Raptor if needed, (most have limits of 35). This is why nothing last out here on these "roads".

I traded in my 9 year old 100,000 mile tundra for the raptor. The tundra is great quality and a great reliable record plus great resale, but is not in the same league as the raptor in terms of a true off road truck and interior amenities. Toyota has really fallen behind with the Tundra IMO, it’s very dated i.e. no pano roof, no push to start etc..if Toyota made a true competitor to the Raptor I’d look at that but they don’t and I don’t see them doing it.

Not interior rattles most of the issues come from the sun roof. If you get one without a sun roof you are fine. If you get one with a sun roof you will experience some noises.

I'm thinking a white 802A SCREW would do wonders for our marketing, but you guys are talking me out of it. LOL

Does Ford do a 1 year lease on Raptors?
