With all the games Ford is playing with builds between 21 and 22 raptors (Quality holds as well), dealers collecting money when they don't ACTUALLY have any allocations, buyers not knowing dealers don't have 35 allocations, or 37 allocations, all of the ridiculous ADM that dealers charge, and the Quality issues that could arise from covid builds (transient workforce that is not sklled), or suppliers who are sub par backups (rushed).............. Why are people buying ANY vehicles right now? This is absolutely crazy to me. It seems like the worst time to buy anything, and it also has a very high risk of being problematic.
It is a bad time to buy a car. But if you need a car, or want a car you can afford, then why not? Everything on your list save covid build is easy to work around if you're motivated. And I think covid build risk is overblown.

I am just curious why you don't ever seem to have anything positive to add to these forums? Do you have a Raptor?

I hope those that voted for Biden, you’re paying the price.
Can you explain how the global supply shortage and global inflation has been fueled by the Biden administration? Further please explain how the Trump administration did not attribute to the current economy.
I’m a republican but I’m not an idiot. Seems like there’s a thin line between the two these days and many are using “Go Brandon” as an excuse for their shortcomings or a lack of understanding of how the pandemic or response to it has affected the global economy.

Why buy now? Why not? It's not like you're coughing up 80 grand and then waiting.... put a (refundable) deposit down and cross your fingers. Worst thing that can happen is you have to wait - best case scenario is you get an amazing vehicle that still isn't super common and puts a HUGE smile on your face every time you see/drive it. Live a little lol

The fact the government printed money to dole out to everyone, all the free handouts, as well as many other benefits to keep people on the couch..... may explain quite a bit. The biden admin is clueless as to how to fix the mega inflation that he created in such a very short period. His pandemic response and confusion is laughable. He has created a huge mess for himself and I am glad that it is being recognized by others who are stopping his disaster planning. I didn't like Trump as an everyday guy, or the Twitter nightmare he created for himself, BUT............. he knew how to run a business... run a country. I will gladly give him four more years to get this country back in shape. He set us up well at the beginning of covid, and bumbling biden massively screwed that up.

All the people putting themselves on waitlists to pay MSRP a year from now are going to get an unpleasant surprise when Ford hikes the MSRP by $6,500 and they discover the trade-in value for their current vehicle has dropped by another $5k because everyone already bought what they wanted in the past 12 months.
This is spot on. The base TRX had a final price around $71-72k with zero options when it first came out. The base TRX now has a delivered price of $77-78k after the recent price increase in December. I have been surprised Ford has not had more significant price increases, but I expect they will be coming. The base Gen 3 800a is a steal of a price for $65-66k—especially given what a base TRX stickers for now. Those that are buying trucks now are beating inflation and depreciation because the starting price of their truck will likely be significantly less than the price point that others will be buying in at 12 months from now. If you need it explained, you’re not that smart, so don’t tell your mother!

FINALLY, a person that understands money and the reason we are in the mess we find ourselves! That said, I have a tip for you, do not waste time attempting to explain it to CINISI, he is not the…….how do I phrase it…..lets just say, he is “on the move”.
