uh, the 6.2L wasn't an F-250 motor before it was in a raptor, it was adapted for the F-250 afterwards

I recall reading something that the 6.2 was an old boss block laying around on a rack someplace. I'll try and find that article

Why not is the question? It's a bad ass motor that really gets the truck moving. I would not want to be running a twin turbo v6 in the middle of a hot desert and the 5.0 makes less power.

If you're frustrated with MPG's go buy a different truck. Any motor would struggle to produce better numbers with a 6200lb barn door.
