also, the sound deadening material kinda looks like that house wrap they used on my house, that Tyvek stuff. Probably doesn’t do much.
I’ve seen other material that looks better. Forget what it’s called.

Tyvek... those were the days. it may look like Tyvek but I’m sure it’s way better than you think. The cab is pretty quiet now, but you can probably shave a db or 2, cut down some tire noise and exhaust resonance.

I get the sentiment, but the Truck was just a bunch of disconnected parts at one point in it's life already. If the people doing it know what they're doing, ok. Besides, when you're throwing that much money at it, you can afford to break a part or two.

From what I've seen, there's lot of different options out there for use in different spots in the vehicle.

I've watched some of those videos, and others. The all come across as overkill to me. I mean, they're spending days on these projects using average amps and speakers. Why go to all that trouble for average? I'm sure it's mostly because of sponsors and higher clicks.
