Who has the Black MBRP exhaust?

Had a chance to take mine on the freeway today. There's a drone between 1500-1900 rpm which is ~60 MPH in 6th. Not sure there's anything I can do about the drone short of keeping it in 5th longer. Let's see how long I can live with it...

On the plus side, I did notice a nice 1 MPG increase according to the computer.

Love the Exhaust but didn't love me!

After our crazy off roading here in Alberta, my black MBRP exhaust finally gave up! Ripped the hanger weld right off the last section We had to pull the pipe off from the muffler back out in the field. Got back home and had a turn down tip welded to the muffler and new hanger welded on. Sounds awesome now.

The difference compared to the standard MBRP turn down system is the Black has a Resonator and Muffler. Almost zero drone and sounds solid.
I wish I would have done this earlier.

So I'm still fighting the drone with my Black cat back. I was able to reduce the RPM range in which it occurs by playing around with the exhaust tip length. Now it's only occurring at 1800 - 1900 RPM. The wife hates it so I my have to ditch this setup.

MBRP even sent me a replacement muffler for free which didn't help.

Probably going to end up selling this setup and going with a Borla Touring. Anybody want a slightly used MBRP car back? (With 2 mufflers). .
