You can beg to differ all you want, but you're still a dou che bag. You're also not very "supportive" for being a supporting member. Not sure how you got that badge, but it should be removed. You're nothing more than a troll.

Any by the way, the OP doesn't have a Raptor R. If you had done something, you could have found that out. But I guess you were to convinced you're poop doesn't stink.

$ to the site.

I have actually been considering lately going with the whipple tune for my '23. I like the JB4 and have experience using it on a BMW 10 years ago and it worked just fine, but there isn't any transmission tuning included which is kind of a deal killer for me, and why I had been holding out hope for cobb+goose.

One con to the whipple route for me was that I didn't want their intercooler and intake (especially at $2,400+); I prefer to get cobb products. I just noticed the other day that it looks like you can get the whipple tuner as a standalone without the "parts package" here: https://whipplesuperchargers.com/i-...5l-ecoboost-calibration50-state-legal.html?q=

I'm wondering if the tune would play nice with a FBO truck? (e.g. cobb intake, cobb intercooler, k&n boost tubes, spd downpipes, etc.). I'm in CA and on the worst gas imaginable so with our 91 oct out here, I'd say the whipple tune is probably only good for 30-40 hp and 50-60 tq? but I think that may be enough of a bump, with the transmission tuning, to make it worthwhile to me.

Gen 2 here so not exactly an apple to apples comparison.

The Whipple standalone calibration was created for me with my existing mods (Roush Intake, Garrett intercooler). Part of the process is letting them know what mods you
May have on the truck.

Any intercooler will work btw. This is not something that is that dialed in as part of a calibration. The weather changing is more dynamic and no calibration needs to be done (on a street vehicle) each time the weather changes. That’s not to say that a better intercooler doesn’t make a difference, it absolutely does. More capacity limits the effect of heat soak and the cooling time recovery between “pulls”.

I love my Whipple calibration.

with your whipple tune (albeit you have a Gen 2) can you flash right back to stock at anytime? Or do you have to reach out to Whipple for that file?

I don't think the Whipple by itself is any more powerful than the ford performance tune

You have the file saved on your PC and can also save the stock file with the HP tuner device. You can switch back to stock at any time. You can switch back to the Whipple Calibration just as easy.
