I ordered a whipple package from SVC. I also have magnaflow exhaust and SVC tune currently. Is there anything else, besides a lot more suspension,of course: that I need?

Cold Air Intake?
headers?

thank you in advance for the input.

I am sure SVC can hook you up with anything your little heart desires. Just depends on the limit of the credit card.

I think I have it all. The headers really make a difference in sound and power numbers. Maybe 30hp. The throttle body helps a little as well. You will love the whipple. It is freaking awesome. I am at about 555 rwhp right now. According to the dyno. Every little bit helps. You will have to get a new tune once your all supercharged. The stock tune they send is awful. Way too rich. I have a JDM which is excellent, and a custom one as well.

Thanks bro!

Only an authority because I have tried it all. Fun tinkering with these beasts. Also fun to have a 6500 pound off-road monster that will go 0-60 in 5.6 seconds!

One more thing to consider that I am also considering is changing the gears. Expensive, but I talked to a couple of guys on here who did it, and the low end power is silly good. 0-60 in under 5. I am worried about the highway driving and cruising a bit though. If I did it, I would only go to 4.88's. The guy under 5 seconds has 5.18's. But at 60mph he is over 3200rpms if I recall. And gears are 3-4k to do, and only a few places do them.

Or at least do them right! Heard a couple of horror stories about screwed up jobs too.

I would just add make sure you do the HD HE with fans!
SVC has done quite a few Whippled Raptors, they will steer you in the right direction.
As long as the wallet stays the course. LOL

MTF is absolutely correct. I did not do the upgraded fan initially, but got it about 5 month's ago, and wow! Much better performance and cooling of the everything. I live in Houston, so it hot as balls down here. I got the AFCO instead of the whipple, saved a few bucks($400), and heard from several it might actually be a little better than the whipple. Talk to Jim over at JDM. They are very knowledgeable, and have been supercharging our trucks for a long time. I have a tune, Throttle body, intercooler, and guage pod from them. They are good people.

My whipple is in and I had the DYNO baseline ran today. If you look in the build-up Forums you will see my thread. I will post photos as I get them. I would like to keep in touch with you as your process goes along so we can compare. As suggested by the knowledgeable posts I read here to go with Headers and a Larger Throttle body now instead of later for price. To have it done now and the tune built was cheaper than to do piece by piece my 2 Cents. I hope all goes well and I look forward to staying in touch on this. BTW the guys on here have been great for information, my wallet is hurting for sure but excited for the end results.
