Today I decided to not do the oil pump.
it's still not here and they can't tell me when it will arrive.
It's also a 12.5 HR install.....

So yea, we're moving forward. on assembly.





I personally don't like the blower head unit in blue.
black finish center, alum manifold, with blue covers as an accent - will look good.

Before you go any further!!!! Make sure you check the heater core hose. The one you had to cut and lengthen. That is the only issue I’ve had in the 40k miles I have on my whipple kit. After it was on for a couple months I started smelling coolant. Looking it over with a flashlight I could see through the little gap the base of that coolant line was wet. Such a PIA I drove it like that for over a year. It was just Seeping. So earlier this year I. Figured it was time to fix it. I took it all off, new gaskets, new spark plugs, new coolant hose, etc. get it all back together and after a couple weeks the base of the hose is still wet. I used a stainless hose clamp, put a coating of RTV and let it dry for days.

I don’t understand really it is the simplest thing. Just a hose on a male end with a clamp. WTF. I talked to whipple and they had seen that before, also JDM had seen it too. There is no way to check it, just make sure you confident before you move on.
