The cams are the only difference between the two that I am aware of, but the valve covers are the same...

I think it would serve everyone well to take a look at the old thread (I posted the link earlier in this thread) and see what types of things were actually answered vs what was asked. I think the point of this thread has been missed...

I would agree 100%. Some of these questions are WAY off base and others are a slap in the face to the SVT guys. But whatever.

You cant control or sensor people to that degree, not sure why your so bent on trying. This is a hypothetical question, what would you ask SVT? People are just having fun with it, Relax.

It's not hypothetical, we are going to SVT headquarters in two weeks.

Here is another question for SVT engineers, Has the president offered you the medal of freedom yet?

Hey all,,probably a newbie question,,but why does GT500 get SVT badge on valve covers and not SVT Raptors?

^^^^ This.... It's kinda like, why does the raptor shocks say svt but the GT500 shocks don't....

ding ding ding! The GT500 has an engine that is specific and only offered in the GT500. Even when other vehicles had the 5.4, the GT500 was the only one with internals built for being s/c. The raptor 6.2 is the same as any other 6.2 F-150 engine.

This thread appears to have reached the end of its useful life (it might be 1 page beyond that). Like most threads of multiple pages on forums, they almost always take that turn and aren't typically able to be resuscitated. :pp:

I agree, but the guys going are fairly level headed and I am sure Mark is going to keep everyone in line. We know that this is a rare opportunity, and i know I would as many others want to do a yearly raptor homecoming at SVT. So, I think we can filter the crap to shed favorable light on Raptor owners and FRF.
