What would you ask SVT Engineering?

And to add to the Diff....

Advance trac: When You hold down the button for a while and it shuts off Traction control, Yaw control, Roll Stability control but Automatically reverts to Single Press state at 35 mph. In ORM it says Settings retained for all vehicle speeds.

For me I don't understand why when I ask for this stuff to be turned off I want it off or on, and I don't want to be in ORM. I personally have almost gotten stuck because of these nannies.

Really these are my biggest complaints.

Maybe ask SVT for solutions re:

Issues with the power steering and the reservoir?

Over heating, engine and transmission, when off-roading due to aftermarket lights blocking grille? (larger radiator, trans cooler, etc.??)

Locking and unlocking front sway bar?

Locking front differential?

Direct port fuel injection?

Less chrome?

Not sure if these are valid questions, as I do not have my truck yet, just trying to think of things that have been discussed here on the forum.

For one thing, if we are talking to SVT Engineering, they have no control over regional pricing differences. That would be like asking the finance department why the Raptor has 35" tall tires.

I beg to differ. Engineering, Marketing and Sales all work by closely together. They all talk. They have lunch. You get the drift. Those are facts. Voicing concerns regardless to directly to the OEM will have a good chance of finding the right set of ears. It's an opportunity that shouldn't be overlooked, regardless of someone's concern.

Anyways... I've said my peace, and I again, I do appreciate both Greg and YJ offering to bring it up

Good point Wilson.

A question for the svt engineerds:
What would be the first three things you would upgrade on a Raptor and why?

My question would get the axe because why? It doesn't effect you therefore it's not valid?

Funny when something that doesnt effect you is dismissed as a gripe - hardly cricket.

I do appreciate Greg and Yukon Joe's considerably more positive and measured responses.

Traveling through border control and leaving your car in another country for warranty work is hardly a viable solution. Heck with my work schedule taking it to a local dealer would be pressing it for time.[/QUOTE]

No, it would get the axe because its not something they control or will have an answer to, therefore a waste of their time.

yes make it specific to old models not what they are coming out with but the little things that they know wouldn't heart to change and possibly improve.

What was the original idea before bean counters and lawyers got a hold of the design.

Was it going to be wider, but limited due to assembly line width?

Why was front modified, and the rear left basically untouched (leaf springs, lift blocks)?

Why not a short wheelbase (reg cab)?

If you are carrying the weight of 4wd system, why not use full time with locking center diff?
