Anyone who has closely followed the mod motor from the start (and the 5.2 FPC is still a mod motor) knows the hot ticket right now is essentially the GT350 engine with a standard CPC. You say that's what the racing teams are using instead of the FPC engines? Not surprised at all to hear that.

It's still not as good as the older mod motors for ultimate strength if your are going for over over 1000 HP with big boost, but if you are only shooting for 750 to 850 HP it's perfect and it's SO easy to get there with a PD blower.

I kinda agree with this. I get that automatics are faster these days, but how many of us really care if we are doing 4.1 instead of 4.3 0-60s, if all you’re doing is mashing in the gas pedal? Most of the fun in driving a sports car is rowing your own gears and having that visceral experience, IMO.
