Cruising in town or highway i think trac control has good purpose. When off the main road it will get you stuck quick if you don't shut it off.

4wd on, off-road mode on, quick press of trac button. I don't turn trac all the way off when using off road mode because I want the airbags. You have to have some ability to spin the tires if u do get in a slide in 4wd around a corner the best thing to do is turn out of it and gun it..let the front tires pull u. You can't steer without the wheels spinning In snow.

I hate my vans trac control and abs.
Abs does not freaking work. It's useless.

And traction control sucks, can't get sideways!!!!
