I always thought that ORM only lowers the threshhold where the the airbags deploy, not disable them.

ORM does NOT disable the airbags.

NOT, it desensitizes them. I bet any good horizontal deceleration or rollover and they go off regardless.

I don't remember. Its a scab. But like that dodge vs f150 rollover pic, the cab on this is still shaped like a cab. Amazing since I'm sure they were hauling ass and in the desert!

Yep that was my main question because the Screw has a higher roll rating than the Scab which would make since. Makes me feel better about my Scab the one rolled in the pic with the dodge was an Screw. I'm glad these are holding up in a roll over!!!

Perhaps they had physically disabled the air bags. The truck was cage and they were wearing safety equipment/harness no? At that point air bags are a hindrance. On another note I've seen pictures of deployed air bags where the customer claimed ORM was engaged. I really have a hard time seeing Ford completely disable them due to lawsuits, and I can't recall Ford ever saying they were completely disabled, just desensitized.
