Wow what a load of crap. My best friend was a Vietnam wounded veteran and a ranger. He passed last year. And I can honestly say he was very proud of his service and was not one to brag about It. If he were still alive today and I showed him this thread I know he would be very disappointed with a few of you. I know to him it was all about honor and respect. So with that said I am passing on the popcorn and am hoisting a shot of jack Daniels in his honor. Here's to you Gary.

Hey I remember when he passed. You were in charge of his truck with the kick ass paint...yeah I remember now...

Sounded like a great friend...

Good memory Fred. Yes he was a true friend. And I do miss him a lot. He was one of those once in a lifetime people that touch your life. I remember any person that talked to him at car shows and we're Vietnam vets, he would immediately say. "Welcome Home". That really meant a lot to him. He would confide in me what it meant to be a ranger, and as I said before it was a lot of honor and respect.

I can't watch hockey on tv, but live with a bunch of beer, waiting for a fight to break out, that's a good time.
