I'm 6'2 1/2" with a 36" inseam and equally long arms, and I use an empty pool chlorine bucket, (2 1/2 gallons), upside down to stand on. Not so much to check oil or add oil; I need the step to reach down and twist off the filter and reinstall the new one. I had similar problems with my previous 1998.5 and 2004.5 Dodge Cummins 3500's....

I am used to climbing on the bumper of my (lifted) Dodge diesel over the last 10 years, so this is nothing.

I stand in the bumper cut outs. I'm 5'5" so I'm very short. Other wise I can only see the hood latch hahah
