I'm gonna leave them and see if they grow on me or if I just stop caring.

Very nice. How hard are those to get off?

Super simple. Just remove the skidplate - that's six bolts. Then you can reach the two bolts holding each hook on. See pics below. Retighten to 85ft lbs.
