Just curious, but are you required to run the bump stop spacer with the gen 2 “RXT” shocks?

I am not sure which spacers are you talking about. But you are not required to have spacers to run the RXT system.

They are on your bumpstops to limit up travel with stock rear shocks. I assumed the eccentric mount icons would allow you to remove your spacers and gain an additional inch of up travel.
They look like this:

I have a gen 1 and yes I am stock right now, so take this for what it is worth.. On my truck those little spacers will be coming out one I get RXT or a bypass rack. If you are able to remove them and safely cycle the suspension that high then you should gain some up travel.

In your photo it looks like the shiny ring is the spacer I am referring too (red arrow)

Seems there was another post where a lot of guys used the Amsoil HDMP spray on the rear diff to keep it protected as well. Most people talk about it for aftermarket rear springs, to keep them protected as most come bare.

I did the HDMP thing on my diff/axle and frame. Lasted beautifully through a MN winter.

Thank you now I definitely understood what you trying to say I got confused lol. I will be removing them and testing them but that sure looks like an extra inch of uptravel. Thanks again I got to learn something new.

No problem at all. With the eccentric mount on the Icons you should be able to use that additional up travel. May verify it on Icon’s install instructions if you get the chance though.
