Night and day. Especially on ice. Somewhere in the shell well photo is a SVC bump can. Snow was 16-20 inches deep on the sides for about 100 miles. MPG went to shit but it was a fun drive2cd15c3e36b0ca74366fa005bc463bae.jpg

Those are some badass tires. Just put a set on a family member’s X7. Can’t imagine a set on my Raptor. . . Might call for some winter challenges to see what they’d be capable of.

Steering wheel finished, headed my way. Should be installed next week.

Slowly achieving 100% mall-crawler status. (Although I am taking the truck duck hunting in December and to Big Bend in March, so I'm apparently having an identity crisis.)

Does the carbon fiber steering wheel retain all the OEM functions (heat, controls, paddle shift)? If you don’t mind—what is the website/company. Thank you.

I chose not to retain the heat function, but heating can be preserved on the leather parts of the wheel if desired (not the carbon parts). Yes, paddles and controls stay functional.

Rau racing is the company, Bill Rau is the guy. He has a thread on here somewhere but his information is at the bottom of the photo I posted.

Switched to Alternative Offroad A pillar light mounts (took off SDHQ). Thanks you @4x4TruckLEDs.com for turning me on to these.

Guys, if you are in the market, I would not entertain other brands. These are the easiest to install, one of the least expensive, branding free, lowest profile, and in my opinion the best located as the lights are sightly farther forward and closer in than all other options that mount in the corners of the fenders. Just make sure you watch 4x4’s video explaining to only loosen one bolt at a time and swing the mounts in so your hood stays aligned.

Personally, I didn’t like SDHQ because the white on black branding was too in your face. They are also so tight that they push up against your fenders and you have to put a little pad of something in between, it just looks cheap to me. All photos from SDHQ show a piece of cardboard on there. Lastly, install is a bitch. Arguably the most annoying install I’ve done on my Raptor. I would rather have just removed them knowing I never had to deal with it again than potentially have to adjust or tighten in the future.

Finally got around to putting in some FORscan mods on my 2020 802A SCAB.

- Double Horn Honk disable
- Autofold Mirrors - Lincoln Style
- Fake engine noise disable
- Panic alarm on fob requires 2 presses
- Disable three "doo-doo-doo" start-up chimes from cluster
- Engine temp & Transmission temp shows above gauges
- IPC Quick Boot (No Ford animation shows on cluster)

Still considering:

- Global Window Open/Close
- Auto Start/Stop Disable (I am not crazy about disabling the Battery Management System though)

Cell phone mount. Got sent a freebie if I’d review it:

https://coursemotorsports.com/collections/ford/products/ford-direct-fit-magnetic-phone-mount

If interested, You can see my more complete review in the Interior Forum under “Cell Phone Mount”

I really like the product and it works great. I wanted something less obtrusive that blends seamlessly with the dash. I find the Builtright/67d product more obtrusive than I’d like and I downright dislike the ProClip monstrosity. This works great and I was even able to place the metal plate for the magnetic connection in a location that does not prevent Qi charging. Win-Win!

Thats the same one I've had for a few weeks now. My only gripe is how it moves with road vibrations
