Installed a carbon fiber shifter thanks btw to RRRaptorfun for the shout out on my thread & a seamless transaction (check on its way lol!) - looks nice, my dirty hand/palm sweat wearing out shifter leather no longer an issue on my 801a truck.

Just plug in and go?

and, best price for them?
Yup. Just have to swap over your BLIS module. Got mine from a local guy for $100 plus my old ones. I’ve seen them posted for anywhere between $500-$700 though

thats the instructions I found online, few screws & some snap fit tabs, gave me opportunity to REALLY clean the center console, which is a PITA compared to my previous GM trucks.

I suppose you may be able to squeeze the snap collar on the shifter boot & mess around that way but there’s a lot more clearance to access the plug/wiring & the 2 screws that hold the shifter to the stalk

wasn’t too bad an install IMO & like I said gave me the chance to clean it up nicely

Yikes, you took apart a lot of stuff lmao. Took me 7 minutes and nothing was removed at all.
I love the carbon though!!

I have “Stripper scent” from Chemical Guys. Got it as a joke, not a fan of any fresheners in vehicles.
