SVC sold me a set of 2024 raptor R knuckles and arms, getting them shipped out this week. I abandoned my modified gen 2 spindles / misalignment spacers in favor of the stronger gen 3 ball joints, hubs and simplicity to get the truck rolling straight. hopefully will not have to mess with anything suspension geometry wise for now.
Question:
Does anyone know what is the IWE setup on the 4a 2023 platinum f150? Supposedly they have no iwe at all and I’d like to find an oem iwe delete solution. Do not love how the rcv is exposed to the elements, and prone to corrosion. (Although rcv is my plan B)
I ordered B&M’s catalog - front and rear diff covers, transmission dipstick and 10R80 aluminum pan. The fitment says their 8.8 diff cover will work on a f150. Although part numbers are a little jumbled on their website. I’ll find out and report back / confirm what fits
B&M part #
40297 (front diff)
41298 (rear diff)
71400 (trans pan)
22200 (trans dipstick)
-I’ll be installing a new oem gen2 crank pulley for the time being. I plan to switch to a gen 3 block that will not fit a gen 2 ATI super damper. So new oem gen 2 will work for now. Oem gen 3 will happen this summer after the chassis is sorted.
(Nerd alert) Installed my instrumented / ported turbine housings. These now have Turbocharger shaft speed sensors, EGT sensor and EMAP (aka pre turbine backpressure aka drive pressure).
-Ford green diff bushings will take 2 weeks to arrive
I’ll be waiting on parts for the better part of the next month, so this may be the last update for a little while. I expect to have the truck driving by late April.
