They are not quick release, they are quick connect. Manufactures have no investment into how fast a fitting can be released/removed. Their investment is in how fast it can be connected and assembled. Also most if not all have a tactile "feel" when properly when assembled correctly, this is so the assembly line worker can "feel" when the fitting is installed correctly because the factory can be loud and the worker can't always hear the snap/click when connected.

Sorry if I am being an ass, 35 years of dealing with those things. Digging dirt out of them (mostly on the frame/fuel tank) to get them to release and you quickly figure out, they didn't invent them for me (the mechanic) they invented them for themselves.
Oh I get it. On the quick release I was referring to the plastic one for the heater hose off the top radiator hose. So weathered that there was no way it would detach as designed. The small plastic tabs eventually just broke apart. That was 45 mins of tooling around with.

definitely, was checking twice a day and snagged them immediately, the guys there had great patience dealing with me calling every day to make sure they were legit and good to go.
Upholstery guy is gonna throw on the new airbags and stitch them up and should be good to go.
They were well worth the wait, gonna throw on the rear seats this weekend after the t-stat job.

Also seems like theres an updated thermostat for our engines, has a plastic bottom and revised top, supposedly to prevent it from sticking. Others have said its dropped their averages by 10*.
