First oil change for the 2023 and first time using Ford mobile service. I must have been living under a rock all this time.
It’s one of my missions in life to spend the least amount of time possible at a car dealership. Sitting on my couch for 20 minutes is much better than waiting around a dealership for over an hour.
We just bought a Lincoln and the dealer said they'd service it here at the house and extend the offer to our Raptor and Mustang too. I wonder if this is that. If they meant they're gonna come get it and drive it there and back - then that's not happening. I gotta look into this mobile service and see if it's offered around here. We have the Ford ESP (through Ziegler) as well as the Maintenance Plan...
Tip #2 you dont have to fully remove the fender flair screws. Just loosen them a bit so you can then slide the liner under the flair. Saves quite a bit of time and lost hardware. The liner is a snug fit and not screwed in by the fender screws, only by friction from tightening the fender back in place.
I figured this out after not being able to get two of the eight back in. I have the two, just haven't had the time to yank it out, toss the screws back in, and then reinstall. Yeah, definitely don't need to take them out. Wish the instructions would have said that, or that I took more time reading the forum before installing the first one. Second one went in perfectly and all remained in the truck, just simply loosened.
