What did u do to your raptor today?

I ordered the raptor kit which came with some brackets. It also came with the standard Baja Designs brackets. I used the standard brackets. The raptor specific ones, I thought, made it harder to install.

The 30" I didn't use any brackets. I installed it using Birdman's method of just drilling two holes into the grille support and mounting it there.

Aren't you in houston? I'll let you check it out, and if you go that route I'll help you install.

Ran it on a dyno for the fist time.. Had some pretty surprising and head scratching results. Best run was something like 296/400. Wtf is that. Does not compute. I know the tires and gears can kill the numbers but it still seems off.

Oh where to start (if you don't follow the fb group).

1.We won an auction last night 2010 5.4l with talking to the wife our plan was to just flip it for some decent profit. Split what we make so I can get 3.0s and she can get the coin for some shit she wanta.

2. This morning when she got up went to her car and started cleaning it up and when I asked her what she was doing she said we'll maybe we'll just sell/ trade the pilot into the dealer and keep the raptor.

3. After cleaning the pilot out go take a shower and get ready to head to the dealer she come in and says she wants to check out another nearby dealer because they have a bunch or explorer's.

4. Go to leave honda won't ******* start and after dicking with it for a bit. I try and jump it with my truck. Wahla we're money and were on our way.

5. Go to the deal ink the rest of the deal on the 5.4 2010 scab.

6. Head to the dealer down the road wife falls in love with 3.5 ecoboost explorer sport, after talking and negotiating trade her pilot in, sell the 2010 raptor to the new dealer for a $2k profit.

7. Get home and flaunt the two new flags I got as part of the deal.

No coin for me to do shit to my truck but, happy wife happy life. $2k profit for a couple hours and two dope ass flags. Woot woot.

Sounds like a busy day!

Who the hell puts those kind of fender flares on a raptor, but doesn't have the decency to go with a stubby antenna?

Did adjustment Knob Prep for rear shocks. Definitely can see how those get stuck if nothing is done.

I really, really wish I wouldn't have skipped doing that before the winter...
