I bet. I was trying few different settings and felt that there was sand in it. One of them had lots of water too so need to take care of those. Did yours stuck already?


I've gotten them so stuck after TRR and mud that I had to drill out the set screws and purchase new knobs. Since then, I've been packing them with this grease but not sure if its the best for this application, what are you using?

I think if it's waterproof like most are and high temp it should protect enough. I also use grease for set screw but it may be that Anti-Seize could be better for it. I'm using Silkolene pro RG2 synthetic grease. Company i worked was importer for long time and i have still good access and prizes for these products.

Looks a little cheaper too so I might give that a try. I noticed the stuff I am using eventually turns into a solid.

I got the left rear done today, wasn't fun but went smooth..

A cap set screw on the right side seemed to be stripped out so I left that for when I'm in my own garage with a bit more time. Hopefully I'll be able to get it with a torx head or something else simple lol
