I wish i would done same thing with MPHD since mine started rusting just in first weeks. Definitely good mod and there is noticeable difference. I'm curios to know how much better those are with 3.0, is it as noticeable as with stock shocks.

So, we've got a few railroad crossings with a grade change in the middle of them. With the stock springs, you could feel the rear end of the truck wanting to bounce. With the Deavers, at about 45 mph, the rear end stays planted now. No more pogo feeling. Really don't have anywhere close to air it out, but you can look in the mirrors and see the axle moving up and down a lot more than before. The stock springs, although sagged out pretty good, felt so much more 'stiffer'. These Deavers just kind of soak up the rough stuff. Real test will be next week when I make a trip to Chicago and back over some of Illinois' roughest roads.......

whew, just finished up a grueling jlt oil separator install.

Man I'm surprised you even would start such a grueling mod on Christmas Eve. What would you have done if you ran into issues and couldn't finish such a time consuming project before your Holiday festivities started lol:ROFLJest:

@CoronaRaptor why did you go to mid perch from top perch?
Because I wanted a change from the front being a bit higher up, I can see out the back window easier and the ride is a lot smoother. I don't offroad as much as you (LOL) so I don't need the top perch anymore. So far I`m loving the new ride, one of the rear shocks was leaking and I didn't even know it.

Ah ok, i always liked the look of top perch but the ride is what steered me away. Thanks
