My brother did the braided brake lines exchange for me with 2011 rear metal line swap +2 6 piece kit from @IRONMAN group buy. Thanks. Also applied @Adams h20g&g last wash. Very easy to apply. And last added a softtopper, that I picked up on the List a couple weeks ago.

Looks good man, nice and shiny! What did you use on the tires?

@Zeus I believe so. Mat took to work and haven't spoke in detail. But this much ,When installing new lines fill with fresh fluid and install trying to keep as much air out as possible.. @bigred1097 is a PRO at this. Amongst many...

@AdamsPolishes . A couple squirts of Adams tire shine and spread with foam sponge applicator. And Voila!

Drilling through the roof? Any issues with leakage?

I had a small leak after I installed my smittybilt rack (similar installation method). I took out all the rubber crush nuts and replaced them with new ones from menards and during installation added a small amount of clear silicon to them to seal them to the cab. Now the leak is no more. I still need to weld up the joints on the mounting brackets to stop 2 of them from rubbing on the roof and fix the paint under them :(

As for what I did today:

* Wired the reed switch up to my alarm for the tailgate, now if someone opens the gate (picking the lock or similar) the alarm goes off. I have a second sensor to add to the roll-x but have yet to devise a good mounting solution for it.

* Re-installed my 2 rear facing area lights, and re-did all the joints in the wiring from relay to the lights, now the flickering is gone! The truck sill has to be running for them to work correctly, so I think I have to chase from the relay to the fuse panel on that circuit.

* Started the new wiring loom for my bed lights, ran out of time and didn't quite get time to wire up all the lights, but I may change direction on those soon. Saw some very nice light strips a friend of mine used on a project of his and am thinking about switching to those from the 'vendor who shall not be named' rock lights to them.
