Started my sound deadening project after having the supplies for months. Rattle trap 80 mil deadener (Amazon), 1/8“ closed cell foam decoupling layer (foam factory) and DB-3 mass load vinyl on top (Home Depot).

I only did the left side doors so far and was shocked with the results. Left side of the vehicle has no road noise and the speakers sound much better clarity / bass wise. Can't imagine how good it will be with all the doors, rear wall and floor done. Now, where to find the time.

Not today but since late last week, found that the driver side front caliper was seized and not releasing and the passenger side was dragging a little as well. Dropped it off Saturday. The dealership replaced both calipers under ESP and turned the rotors. Picked it up last night and it feels like new. Had them change the oil while they had it. I have to travel late this week and won't have time before I hit the road.

Funny story... wife drove my dad's F350 Lariat FX4 SD Dually that I had borrowed to pick me up when I dropped the Raptor off. About three blocks away from the dealership, I notice it pulling to the right. Pulled over at a gas station and, yep... passenger side caliper was seized.

I guess the universe wanted me to swap out a caliper over the weekend. I picked one up on the way home and knocked it out Sunday morning. I had two pads left from the last time I borrowed it and had to replace the left side caliper. :) It sits more than it drives. Fortunately the rotor was in good shape.

Note: Just a few days behind the wheel of the F350 will remind you how much you love your Raptor.

I'll sometimes drive our shop truck, F250.... man that really makes you appreciate the ride quality of the Raptor, for sure!

Dropped her off at the dealer for a trans service. Also mentioned dry rotting on 2-year old OEM BFG's. BFG is going to cover 77% of 4 new tires, going to order up some KM2's. My spare and secondary spare are both good, no dry rotting - so I'll leave those be for the moment.

Tonight, going to do an oil change, change the front diff fluid again, re-install the Crown Offroad skid plates, remove one fire extinguisher from the chase rack and install some quick fist clamps to mount up an axe and shovel.... then it's time to load up for leaving Thursday AM heading to Vegas.

Today I am getting the passenger seat rail on my beast replaced. I've been getting an airbag warning saying "move objects away from passenger seat".

turns out with all the shenanigans at TRR I managed to shear off a bolt on the passenger seat rail!

that was a first for me, but probably not the last.

TRR expenses now stand at $1500

Alignment with extra time due to front suspension: $150
New intermediate steering shaft & install: $500
New left rear window motor and switches: warranty by Ford even though truck is out of warranty (saved me $430)
Wash/wax: $150 (still pulling dirt from under truck though)
New seat rail and install - $650 (!)

I haven't even gotten into new tires yet, now will hold off a while on that.

can't wait till October!
