I get 12 weeks vacation every year. I travel the back roads of the west seeking out the odd and the unusual... Not get lost and photography are my main reasons. Besides that it just looks cool...

Here are some examples of my images...

From the Oregon Coast to the unusual features of Utah, it's all my back yard...

Hit me up next time you're in Utah.

@t_j are all the boxes the same size?

I purchased 2 of these:

Amazon.com: Dynamat 10455 18" x 32" x 0.067" Thick Self-Adhesive Sound Deadener with Xtreme Bulk Pack, (Set of 9): Automotive

One roller:

Amazon.com: Dynamat 10007 Dyna-Roller Professional Heavy Duty Sound Deadener Installation Tool with Wood Handle and 2" Wide Rubber Roller: Automotive

And a roll of tape:

Amazon.com: Dynamat 13100 1-1/2" Wide and 30' Long DynaTape Sound Deadener: Automotive

Install for floor and back wall will take about half a day with removal of all the seats and center console and reinstallation. I still have enough to do all the doors and possibly the roof in the future.

@justuspost I bought the same size boxes on amazon as well (2 of them). I have one piece left after doing the back wall and all four doors. I used a lot on the doors (did the inner door panel too).

I'm satisfied with the interior noise (or a lack thereof) so I don't plan to do the floor. Pain in the ass to do but I think it's certainly worth it if you're going to keep the truck for a while.

How much noise reduction do you get percentage wise? More wind or road reduction? Seems like alot of work

sound deadening really helps. everytime i loan my truck out to a customer, they always say how quiet it is. it also depends on hoe much coverage you want. one person referred to my truck as a coffin.
