Put some new shoes on her tonight.
Kelly Safari TSR. Noticed some hum at highway speeds but not bad at all. Hope to go down to the local beach tomorrow and play in the unplowed parking lots for some snow testing.

didnt make it up a dune so i was backing back down, but the trucks that were behind me had their lights on. it was a little too bright to see well and also being distracted by my 4wd not working properly. the damage is small. not noticeable if it wasnt pointed out.

All I did today was cut a 3" gash in a sidewall and bend my jack.

halfway up the dune (on the second and third try) my 4wd was making noises. a popping noise and then a weird metal clanging noise. so i let off the gas on both occasions and wasnt able to make it up. jb thinks there is air in my vacuum line.

Ever find out what ply they are?

No not let. I am guessing since it is so hard to find out it is only a 2 ply, normally a tire company brags about how they have a 3 ply sidewall. I have emailed kelly and Goodyear to find out for sure. I guess I will find out if a 2 ply holds up this spring when I hit the trails.

Just pulled up Torq in Miramar to put her on the dyno. Results will be posted later. And yesterday took her to get all cleaned up again. I really like this year of unlimited washes

Ok actually went out and read the side of the tire and it says it is a 2 ply polyester.
