131000How many miles do you have on that Trans? It says your fluid was dark is the reason I ask.
I just had it “changed” but I feel like the other shop said they did it but didn’t. Shame.

Good to know!Ok I did mine twice...... why...... for this reason. The fluid you can't get out. I put a big pan on changed the filter added 15 qt drove it for a week drained it.. it was still a little dark. no filter change in the second. It has been 5 -8k now. I might do it again. looked pretty good after the second.
When you do a filter and fluid at best you put 50% new 50% old. (stock pan) if you do it again you get 75% newer 25% old. one more time you get the picture. 87.5% 12.5% I am sure there is a point of diminishing returns. not sure where that is or when.
Yours will all be new now... I said that because the dark fluid comment.. it is possible they did't change it. but they could have also. just looked dark because of the old fluid.Good to know!
Now I’ve had two within 15k miles lolIt doesn't take long for new fluid to change color. Totally normal for mercon lv, it is a characteristic of that particular fluid.
There certainly is benefit to doing a couple changes if it has never been done, and your over 100k.
The fluid will always change color though.
What’s your suspension set-up? I jumped mine yesterday and this felt like a full send. This, just a screenshot from a short vid taken today. Fun times
