Holy crap was it hard to pick a wheel for my truck but finally pulled the trigger on some KMC GRS 17x8.5’s. 1 of 4 showed up yesterday (long story to this that I’ll cover on my channel). These wheel were backordered at almost all of the major distributors so I had to get creative with where I bought them. Going to clean them and ceramic coat with TEC 580 before installing Monday. 583 will be a periodic maintainer.

Keeping my factory tires for now, may switch them up closer to next winter…

I don't know about you all but with wheel shopping the hunt always seems better than the kill for me.

Awesome looking wheels! Saw the teaser you posted on your IG. I’m a huge fan of ceramic coating, makes the maintenance washing much more enjoyable.
I haven’t used the the TEC580 stuff yet. I’ll follow your progress and see how it goes.

Yeah I figure with machined wheels I need to be hyper vigilante with cleaning them and ceramic coating them should make that easier to knock out. Plus brand news wheels, if ever there was a time to coat them, it’s now.

@Finlay150 probably going to do -12 up to +18. It’s a very flexible design for offsets since there is no lip. You just lose concavity with a higher offset.

L-CROSS-BK-LOW-OFFSET-ANGLE-e1734017942100-510x479.jpg

Appears Enkei has a new wheel that’s 26lbs and +12 offset. The “Trail-Cross”.

Considering them due to reasonable price, weight, and not terrible on looks. One of the only places I found them listed has a set of four at $750 but says “national back order 1-3 months.”
Specs below

Brand: Enkei
Model: Trail-Cross
Part Number: 551-790-9512ZP
Color: Matte Bronze
Backspacing: 5.47
Offset: +12
Wheel Diameter: 17
Wheel Width: 9
Hub Bore: 87.10
Wheel Exposed Lugs: Yes
Wheel Material: Alloy
Weight: 26.00
Wheel Structure: One Piece

That’s a good price. I’m running the Enkei RPT1, same specs but a tad lighter. However, the RPT1 is in the $400-$500/ea price range.
