That must have really taken some work to get that far off

I cant believe someone cleaned up all the shavings put it back together and said should be fine. gave it back to the owner and said drive it..... it will be fine. WTF. The previous owner loved to launch the truck. Witch lead to the axel spring perch problem. Then vibration and contact between drive shaft and pinion coupler. then the pinion nut comes loose. the pinion gets into the Carrier. Here we are.

Seems crazy.
Real lucky didn't go further and do some more damage I guess.
Never would have thought something like that could happen, get that far, but not end up breaking major components.

nothing good, but shout out to paul @Swarfworks for saving my ass once again. wonder how many dodge guys i made cream their pants cause i am actually using tow mirrors....... my boss let me use his truck and trailer to pick up disco raptor, and a tire machine paul gave to me.

paul is probably the nicest guy i have met. this is the 3rd time like i said, but if you are ever lucky enough to meet him, his personality is that of a saint. and he is always willing to give you whatever you may need. thanks again paul.

Finally made some Forscan adjustments with help from @Gumby ! Now I can lower the tire pressure some more for a smoother ride!

Got tired of my stock 3rd brake light with its intermittent functionality. Worked whenever it wanted …….. so dropped some coin on the Rad Designs 3rd brake light. Hella nice quality and the pictures don’t do it justice on how bright it is.

Hell yeah. Running the same one 10/10 Eric is the best. Gave me a killer deal on it as mine is one that was a trade in for the billet light. You get billet or 3D print?

Went with the billet one. After I ordered, got a little nervous about the possible weight, but it’s a non issues as it weighs less than I thought.

Has anyone tried redoing the seals in our steering racks? Mine just blew the shaft seal and is spraying fluid once it fills the bellows. Would love to not have to dump $300 replacing it and just change the seals that I see online for cheap.

Well that was a fun trip home with no tail or rear marker lights lol. Remote started the truck while saying bye and noticed inly the 3 cab leds on. Brake lights work still so im kinda confused lol

where you finding a steering rack for $300? theres a company here in denver that charges $150 to rebuild. all steering racks i have seen are $800-$1300
