Replaced the battery yesterday and moved it out of the garage so the 65 Mustang convertible could be moved in. Now it gets to set behind the daily MKX.

Got word that it was my whole compressor. Bummer. Whatever, rather have it in tip top condition before having any trips!

Got the garage computer back tonight. they were able to save it. didn't totally burn it to the ground!!!! So that is good.

I picked Miss Big Booty up from the shop. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the bill and it was $250 under what I expected.

Unfortunately they said the evaporator has a small leak too. Then then quoted me the replacement cost... and the timeline. No sir, I'm leaving on a camping trip on saturday.

Decided to re-tape my rockers but noticed some rust starting to form under there. So i pulled the steps and cleaned up the rust and hit the bottom of the rocker with some Eastwood epoxy primer and chassis black. That turned out so well that i couldn’t reattach my rusted step brackets, so i sand blasted those and powder coated them. Couldn’t stop there and had some left over vinyl wrap so i wrapped the leading edge of all 4 brackets. 5 hours of work that no one will ever notice.
