Ended up cleaning out my truck. It had become a bit of a mess. I cleaned all the back seats so now people can actually sit in it. I cleared out the bed, took the rack off, cleaned the rack, cleaned the bed, repainted the rack.... basically took all morning freshening it up. I'm about to do a HUGE road trip including towing so I just want to be squared away. I moved the spare back under the bed since it will all be road miles from here on out. I'm excited but bummed too. The best camping spots are in California, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, New Mexico, Colorado etc... to move away is saddening. But I'll make the best out of the south.

Got a new foam cannon at work so i had to try it. So i washed the truck and engine.

Also for sure found the coolant leak, the lower rad hose was dripping like a sweaty stripper. Wish i could just find that o ring cause its sooo much cheaper lol.

Transfer case is off. Transmission has been carefully disconnected from the cooler lines, shift linkage, electric plugs, etc. Dust cover and torque converter bolts removed. Starter is removed, crossmember & trans mount are off, and the 6r80 is strapped down to a high- reach trans jack. The neighbor helped out and was rewarded with a couple packages of frozen kobe beef patties.

Dude half the time ill get off work and just throw shit back there. Folders, binders, water bottles, backpacks, spare parts whatever im carrying.

The worst casualty was a piece of uniform that I hadn't seen in like 4 months. it stankkkkkkkk.

The REAL worst casualty was the upper mount on my rack, it is visibly rotten. Most of the rest had a bit of surface rust that was easy enough to fix with a steel tooth brush and rattle can.

I just go 2 made yesterday. they don't have any "Branding" on them but they look and function like the OG. Took the locksmith about 20 min and $135 each.
