Finished installation of a Paragon hard bed cover. I am quite happy with it. Their instructional videos were good enough that Al Bundy could have installed it. It looks great and way it is designed making it easy to use the entire bed and not block the rear window in the process. The seals on it should keep it nice clean and dry inside. (photos to follow when this cold snap leaves)

@badm0t0rfinger when you say the skid plate works, can you elaborate a bit? Does it work well to make the tank harder to punch a hole in? I figure it works pretty well as a skid plate.

The stock tank skid is pretty good, but I smacked it on a rock [driving Berdoo canyon into Joshua Tree] and it got a hairline crack that began to grow. Ended up replacing it with RCI steel skid plate (I also have a trans skid and transfer case skid) and I really like it. When I take it onto some of the narrower or rockier trails I have a lot of confidence. I've dragged it on a few rocks and if you're extra pedantic like me, all it took to get "fixed" was a bit of flat black rattle can. Make sure you torque the bolts and throw on some tamper seal on them.

Since it a slow rainy day at work i gave it a quick wash and buff polish. Just something to do and help make it to spring. Also added a shameless product placement lol

So i did notice whoever painted the tailgate sucked. its flaking off around the trim areas guess i add that to the fix list…..

Edit: yes i went over the decals. Just need to be careful and you cant do that with all compounds and polishes. Just an fyi in case someone wanted to try it. lol

I drove twice this winter, both times because of helping neighbors out.
That's a total of 12 miles this winter, both air filters got destroyed,
gotta love this solution of brine and salt the DEP does to keep the environment save!!! LOL

First time I never rinsed off the truck when I got back home.
Today, I realize it's gonna be an hour on my back,
power washing everything under the truck,

My wife hates when I do this in her kitchen sink. LOL
But nice hot soft water spray keeps the cotton from getting ruined.
This is the second filter today I've cleaned, should be good till summertime.

An hour later, all is clean, it's now drying time.

So now it's had over a week for the oil to soak into the cotton and then I gently pat the filter with paper towels to soak up any excess oil.
This will ensure that the MAF sensor won't get a coating of oil.
