yeah same. we have catalytic converters being stolen, not real often. But i do expect to see the low life trying to steal gas if it gets really bad. Probably not as much in my area since its wooded and and have many gun owners/hunters with decent security cams.

I do like the idea of the extra skid plate though. Guess ill have to add that to the list i cant keep up with lol!!

Went ahead and ordered an offroad skid plate from Stage 3 Sports to cover the gas tank. Should make it less easy to punch a hole in the tank to steal gas. Hopefully it makes my tank a harder target and the thieves move on. I also picked up a locking gas plug off Amazon.
I'm fully expecting gas to get to at least $8 gal this summer. Luckily, I only drive 34 miles round trip to work. If gas gets more than that, the Raptor will become a real fancy lawn ornament.

That's basically what we are paying at $2 a liter right now, so she's sitting in the driveway and will go for a drive once a week until she learns to quit gulping her gas, lol.

I have that very skid plate and it works lemme tell you w-hat.

Get the Icon Dampers, UCAs and Leafs, and get the SVC bumpstops. I have them all on mine right now except the bumpstops. With the Icon stuff my truck is so much fun in Ocotillo wells. When you tow real heavy you can get a longer bump for the SVC and you adjust it so you ride on the bump. That is my plan for one day towing a 20ft enclosed trailer with living quarters and a Yamaha YXZ1000 SS XT-R.
I'll check that out that combo now. I don't think I'm gonna be towing that heavy... I have 1 jetski and one on order... probably 2500 pounds between the 2 of them and trailer.

One thing to keep in mind is that if the icon stage 4 has the RXT shocks you may want to run the icon bump stop for the additional 1” of uptravel that they can be set to have. This is from pure memory, but I think the SVC when adjusted upwards allows for an additional 1.5” uptravel and may allow your rxt shocks to bottom out.

That is why my thought would be to just keep it all one kit designed to work with each other.
