I finally got around to getting out the gopro and stuck it to the upper part of the windshield on my way home last night just to test it out, since i have only used it a couple times. Everything was going great until half way down my road where it fell and hit my knee lol.
So suction cup mount is a no go i may have to get a new gopro also, this one wasn’t the best at recording on my super dark road, works great in daylight though lol.

Get one of these and a Ram mount for your GoPro.

I have this one, just no mount for the gp. I also have a couple 3m tape mounts for it. Just dont want to use them until i know for sure where i want to mount it lol

If using a window mount suction style, a tip is to make a small tether, place it in the window and roll the window up. Will keep you from at least losing the camera.

I mounted a gopro tab right behind the rear view mirror up high. But its worthless now as my gopro fell off the boat and into the ocean...
