To simulate the thickness of the leaf springs I removed so that I can accurately locate the axle housing while cycling the suspension to locate the lower shock mounts.

Brought it into the garage to wax it.
Got lazy and sprayed Jet Black on it everywhere (paint, decals and trim)
Then cleaned the windows and put grease on them tires of course. Quick 30 minute detail.

You know you just put off the inevitable! Your going to have to kick that lazy in the butt and get her waxed with winter just around the corner and that spray won't last but a very short time.

Yes sir! I waxed it in the Spring and I have only put about 600 miles on it this year. It shouldn't take too much to wax it up for the winter and protect the undercarriage as well.

Front and rear new fox shocks(ordered from rock auto), set the front to mid perch while I was at it. Overall, not to bad of a job.

Got some new shoes, new ball joints installed and a fresh alignment.
The old KO2’s were on their last legs and I got a good deal on the Coopers.

I was a bit skeptical on the look of the Cooper AT3 XLT’s, because I couldn’t actually see one before it was ordered.
But I must say they look pretty good, and we’ll see how they perform over time. It’s going to be primarily a pavement princess for now, so don’t hate lol
