Just got my Gen1 back from SVC
Swapped out the (4) oem shocks for rebuilt/serviced ones from Fox

Rides like a Cadillac again.......I mean...the ride is smooth.

They told me I don't need to get an alignment...and that I would be fine without one.

I always thought it was a good rule to follow if you do anything to the suspension to get an alignment asap.

I don't think you altered the suspension at all, the springs, shocks, etc are all the same aren't they? If they moved the lower control arms and stuff, yeah, you would need one, but you are probably okay. It doesn't hurt to get one if it's been awhile since it's been done, but I think what SVC is saying, is that they didn't alter anything.

It's called a brake spoon, nothing special about it.
If the drum brakes/E-brake made a ridge in the drum section of the rear rotor or the shoe pads were swollen from lots of water and never dried out or adjusted the E-brake cable to tight, then you need to adjust the brake adjuster, it's old school stuff.

Did you have a grommet covering the hole to use the brake spoon?
I ask because mine didn't, that does allow mud and dirt to get in there.
Thank you, I appreciate your response. I see now the tools you're referring to. I'm not sure about the grommet and I'm going to take a look there next I have a chance
