Finished getting my LCA reinforcements painted today. Hopefully I can start getting things back together in the coming weeks.

Got a set of ST Maxx for the truck on Friday. Finally looked them over today and found I need to have them rebalanced. Whoever did the balancing was weight happy - one rim has almost a pound of weights on it.

Was under the truck putting the sway bar end links back on, was chasing a front end clunk. Looked at the OEM tape covering the body holes, a few were starting to come off, decided to take all the OEM plastic off, clean and put Gorilla Waterproof sealing tape over all of them. Luckily they are all clean and dry inside.

I just took the tape off.

I've got some angled wands for my pressure washer I fabbed up. Rinse out the insides of the frames..

At least once a year I hit it with a high-power washer to knock off any not just dirt but also loose paint and find rust.

I've found it's mostly on and around welds is where it mostly happens on the outside but cleaning the insides of the frame and shooting paint is a good idea too.

I did six Maxxis Razr tires on oem bead locks with the full on bead lock rings. They didn't take much weight to balance. They have been great tires..

usually its if you dont have nav, hard to tell from the pic. will have to check later

I've seen better results using all Idatalink parts..

Maestro Idatalink.

https://maestro.idatalink.com/searc...010&vehicle_model_id=61&vehicle_audio_id=7852

T harness works w or w/o nav.

Bezel for Nav

https://maestro.idatalink.com/accessories/category/product_id/1050/project/rr

It costs more but it works better.

Hadn't thought about that possibility, will have them check for that when I take them back in, appreciate the heads up Rick!

Went ahead and got new TPMS sensors and they used the aluminum clamp-in style stems too, not sure how I feel about those yet. Feels like one more thing I'll have to check for proper torque when offroading.

Yeah. It is supposed to be maestro parts when you go through and add one to your cart.

I was just surprised to see that you can take a sync 1 nav and go to aftermarket.

Very nice!! I couldn't resist and used my sunroof once just to see if it worked, luckily it did and I haven't touched it since haha! Is the Dr Sunroof a permanent fix for the weak link you think?

The Dr Sunroof kit definitely was better made and had more metal bits than the pieces I removed. I'm hoping it's a permanent fix as I really don't want to drop the headliner again!

Just got my Gen1 back from SVC
Swapped out the (4) oem shocks for rebuilt/serviced ones from Fox

Rides like a Cadillac again.......I mean...the ride is smooth.

They told me I don't need to get an alignment...and that I would be fine without one.

I always thought it was a good rule to follow if you do anything to the suspension to get an alignment asap.
