Did a couple of easy mods today... got a new skid from Lex Motorsports to break up all the black... BSM! (Black Skids Matter) with a thicker aluminum skid.

And I picked up some non-SE rings for the wheels. They match the white paint much better..

The truck looks great.! I also have silver and SE rings for my beadlocks and I like both very much.

Wired the radio in for Dirty Dozen III. Also drove to and from work and to get more jerky steak for DD3 Run after my dog Wesson decided to eat a lb that was ready for marinade....

Let's see the skid plate you took off. And now you need to get two more beadlock wheels for the spares to match.

I removed my front sway bar on my Raptor after reading some older posts of the pros and cons. I have my Raptor set on top perch, let me tell what a difference the ride is now. I have a very bumpy main street that leads to my house. I have always noticed how rough a ride it was, well now with the sway bar removed, it is hard to believe how much difference the ride is.

Can't wait to take on the next run with ROC group to get a real feel for how the front end now works independently. Not sure why none of my fellow Raptor buddies had suggested that I take off the sway bar before.

Its off now and staying off.

They do ride better without the sway bar. There are some cases where the sway bar is a big help for instance bumpy fast corners. The truck can lean over a bit to much and the rear becomes unstable because of the solid live rear axle (inside true lifts) but this is a occasional issue and most people are not pushing the hard. The added comfort can make up for giving up a bit of speed in those corners.

You may also find that some of your street driving will changes because of the added lean on off ramps and twisty bits. There is more lean but it is not scary excessive. I think some have returned to use after a while but I think its a personal preference thing.
