no, he dont own a raptor anymore. now if it was a rainbow colored x5, then yes, it was him

Just an FYI - watch those brake sensors. The added heat will **** them all up and mess with the computer putting you out of service in a bad way.....

Really? The brake sensors on the rotor? The exhaust heat will warm them up that much? I did the same mod however looks like I cut mine a little lower.

But others have had this problem with the heat?

@treypal could chime in, but the way I understood it he dumped his and had a bad brake problem - on top of a mountain!!! He tore apart everything and bled the brakes, etc. Still had to drive home with limited brakes. Narrowed it down to a brake sensor issue resulting from the exhaust heat.

Like I said, I'm no exhaust expert and may have not got all the facts, but it was a result of the dumped exhaust. I have a similar issue going on with mine and that was one of the questions that was asked - where is my exhaust exiting. Since it is a side / lightening exit, that was eliminated as a possible cause.....

LOL at the no ***** given overspray onto the rotors. May smell like burning paint for the first few miles of braking.

I love how much taping off and towels are on there...and then overspray all over the rotors. Don't get me wrong, I think I'd overspray, but I wouldn't be as thorough on the protection. Just curious, why the towels on the roof and hood?
