I've never seen a roll over with as extensive roof damage as this. You guys must have had a guardian angel watching over you. I'm happy to read that everyone was ok with only minor injuries. This time it's not what I did to my raptor, but instead what it did for me.
It served a greater purpose yesterday when myself and 3 friends were struck by a car which flipped the truck over and rolled several times. All 4 of us and the 2 passengers in the other car all walked out of the crash with the worst injury being a serious concussion (discharged from the hospital today after an overnight observation). The officers and doctors all said that it was incredible that we weren't more seriously injured or dead.
A truck is easily replaced but a life is not. Thank you Ford for building a quality truck which most likely saved 4, maybe 6 lives yesterday.
On a less serious note, I unfortunately installed my FX4 retrofit HIDs from @CP RAPTOR on Friday and they were destroyed before I could even put them to work.
Was there any footage? Was it a head on collision?I just remembered that I had my dash cam in the truck so I will look for it when I retrieve my stuff and see if it saved it.
The FX4 HIDs look amazing on the black trucks. Way better than the stock grey ones.
This was not an engineering decision I asure you! When it was bought up to the SVT designers, they were as baffled as we are.Just installed a new light bar.
Tuff Stuff Performance 40" Led Off Road Led Light Bar Flood/Spot Combo Beam- 3W Led-240W-15,000 Lumen
Easy enough to install, but the engineer who decided to make the the wires on the auxiliary switches so short should be fired! What did that save.. like $.10 per truck.

How have things been dealing with the insurance?
I think a good coat of wax and most of those dents should buff out!I went back to get the wheels and headlights today and still don't understand how we all walked away from the accident. The roof actually crushed down on the passenger side headrest and sloped down from there. Somehow my friend only had a concussion and he's been back at work all this week.
The accident footage was salvaged but I've got to wait for everything to settle before posting. The other car struck the back of the rear driver side wheel and bumper. We spun once before rolling twice.
Insurance is being typical insurance.... total pain in the ass. They're pushing my friends (in my truck) to settle quickly and are trying to stiff me on the truck value. My adjuster initially told me to leave my retrofit HIDs and method/KO2s on because they'd give me value based on my receipts. Then he tells me after I leave the tow yard that I wouldn't be getting any additional value for either.
