I took inspiration from this and went to joann's and they let me buy the fabric in a 3" by 54" for 1.66 a piece. I bought 3 colors to try the red is a perfect color match to the oem, but I also bought a yellow and a green. I ended up going yellow just to be different. I think I now have to get ahold of raptor custom embroidery and have him make me a center console to match the yellow.

I figured someone would find the green. Saw it while I was there. Looks good!

Do you also have yellow accents on your black truck? Cause that would be different and look pretty cool.

No not yet but have been thinking about doing something different with the color scheme. always thought about doing some type of small color accents, since I have gradually blacked out the truck without really realizing it. i always wanted to do a sunrise orange like this vette. But I think I will now look into different yellows.

This time it's not what I did to my raptor, but instead what it did for me.

It served a greater purpose yesterday when myself and 3 friends were struck by a car which flipped the truck over and rolled several times. All 4 of us and the 2 passengers in the other car all walked out of the crash with the worst injury being a serious concussion (discharged from the hospital today after an overnight observation). The officers and doctors all said that it was incredible that we weren't more seriously injured or dead.

A truck is easily replaced but a life is not. Thank you Ford for building a quality truck which most likely saved 4, maybe 6 lives yesterday.

On a less serious note, I unfortunately installed my FX4 retrofit HIDs from @CP RAPTOR on Friday and they were destroyed before I could even put them to work.

Dude wtf? Where did this happen?

We were headed down to U of I and took some back roads that I've never been on to avoid construction traffic. Still waiting on the police report to see exactly where we were but I know it was near Paxton, IL. Ford County Sheriffs dept was first on scene.

Absolutely outstanding that everyone was ok, im glad to hear everyone is ok. Sorry for your loss though.

Thanks! At the end of the day, it's just a truck. I'd much rather deal with insurance than funeral services for a friend.

Incredible...glad everyone walked away!

Incredible indeed!

Believe it or not, it was a Honda Accord and it looks way better off.. Both vehicles were going about 60.

Had one of the four in my truck with a serious concussion and was held overnight but he was discharged this afternoon. Everyone has serious aches but the truck and seatbelts did what they were supposed to.
