Washed it and then 2 hours later watched it get rained on....


Sounds like how my day went. Not as bad as my neighbors day. He had both rear shocks off and started putting the new ones on when it started to pour.

Cleaned up my lighting cables as best I could. Used the extra thermal cover for the AC line. For some inexplicable reason I decided to run the ground wires from the front lights all the way to the back of the truck where the pass through wires come out. Completely unnecessary. I could've found a decent ground point somewhere up front.

But I didn't.

So now I have three extra cables to contend with. So I zipped tied and covered them to protect them from the elements to the best of my ability, and called it a day.

I'll keep my day job, thank you very much. :)

So, you're not an electrical engineer at your day job....

By looking at your user name, I would think you do something that requires a boat. You know like fishing & untangling line. I'm just blind leading the blind...
