I did 22 years in the Army, 12 years Infantry and 10 years as a Medic. I've seen way more penisis than any call girl in the US ever has.5 years in the Army… the gayest bunch of straight dudes I’ve ever known

I was a 63b wheel mechanic. When they gave us new infrared laser thermometer’s as “hooah” gifts… the first thing we all did is take the temperature of our own balls,I did 22 years in the Army, 12 years Infantry and 10 years as a Medic. You have my respect… I couldn’t serve in a metal coffin under the sea… it’s like all the worst ways to die, rolled into one vehicleI've been on a submarine, not sure you're ready for that.
Sounds like the TC failed…I'm looking at a transmission rebuild. (The lab test showed a lot of metal, maybe 20X what should be there), and I've got a local rebuilder (with lots of positive reviews) quoting me $2500 cash for a bench rebuild of the 6r80 & the converter. Says there's not a backlog on the parts and he can knock it out within a week. One part of me says just finish all the other work, and just drive it cautiously for awhile so I can put some miles on it. The other part of me says "well, as long as it's already apart why not do this too, and have it as reliable as possible once I'm done". Opinions?View attachment 395968
It’s a tuff call. Part of me says ride it out, but like was stated you don’t want to be stranded at the worst possible time. But as old as our trucks have gotten it is bound to happen eventually. I know that my truck will do it some day, but I think I will be okay with it when it finally happens. Plan is to tow it and fix it when that day comes. I’m curious as to how many miles are on your transmission?I'm looking at a transmission rebuild.
