New brake rotors and pads were installed yesterday. CoronaRaptor I hope you are smiling because you will always have a part in making our trucks better. Thanks to Rick at FMS for the donation and Noah for all the help and especially organizing the raffle.

Changed the front diff fluid today. Surprisingly it went smoother than expected, but I did have to unbolt the steering rack to get the cover off. I'm not sure how you would get it off otherwise and definitely be hard to get it back on without destroying the gasket or getting RTV everywhere. Word of advice, practice getting the cover on before putting your sealant or gasket on. It took me about 15min to figure out the sequence to get it back on, but if you just push it straight up the cover will slide right on. i bought a gasket and used a little RTV to hold it in place while i finagled it in. Having a second set of hands would have been helpful but with the jack stands and floor jack in the way it might be a little crowded but i was able to get it done myself. I bought a fluid pump from amazon to fill and that was about the hardest thing with the whole ordeal. Laying on my side pumping that thing and getting .5oz per pump was rough, but 30,000 pumps later it was full and so far no leaks.

Here's a link to the pump i used. It worked, but man was it a workout and it took a long time to fill.

You’re a better man than myself. I just pumped the old fluid out with my pneumatic brake bleeder and didn’t bother taking the cover off…..

Retaped the rocker panels. What a royal pain in the ass. I undercoated the truck previously so it took forever to clean the existing oil off. Also cleared debris from the drain holes.

Tried to relocate the sunroof drain tubes but couldn't find the hoses at the rear of the rockers. Any advice for a 2014?

I went and moved the hose around behind the rear plastic in the cab and then somehow it magically was reachable in the one of the rear rocker holes. I have yet to find the other side rear and both fronts. Lol

Edit: mines a ‘13 screw…

Oh boy, don't know if I want to open that can of worms right now. Should I still worry about relocating those hoses even if my rockers are filled with Fluid Film?
